Lisa DeBenedittis

Lisa DeBenedittis, Ph.D., is a Jungian analyst and licensed psychoanalyst in private practice serving individuals in and around New York City and Long Island. She holds a Ph.D. in Humanities from New York University and completed postdoctoral training in Jungian analysis, earning international certification through the International Association for Analytical Psychology. She is a practicing analyst and supervising analyst with the Jungian Psychoanalytic Association in New York.

DeBenedittis offers in-person therapy on Long Island and teletherapy for clients throughout New York State. Her clinical work is centered on helping patients understand the unconscious motivations and hindrances that shape their lives, working sensitively and listening carefully as clients set and meet meaningful goals. She draws on the rich Jungian tradition of exploring the unconscious through dreams, fantasies, and the imagination to support individuals in living fuller, richer, and more meaningful lives.

Her credentials include National Certified Psychoanalyst (NCPsyA), Licensed Psychoanalyst (LP), and IAAP certification. She brings a scholarly depth to her clinical practice, grounded in her humanities training and her commitment to the ongoing supervision and mentorship of analysts in formation.
