About
Lin Ye is a Jungian analyst and researcher whose work bridges analytical psychology and Chinese cultural contexts. She holds a doctorate with a focus on the psychological development and individuation of adult women and adolescents, with particular attention to the dynamics of the mother-daughter relationship and the mother complex. Her master's degree in applied psychology, with a specialization in analytical psychology and Chinese culture orientation, was completed at South China Normal University. Her research applies Jungian frameworks — including individuation theory and complex psychology — to understand gender development, family dynamics, and the resolution of relational difficulties within contemporary Chinese society. She has published on topics including the Jungian view of loneliness and the use of group counseling to address the mother complex. As a member of the International Association for Analytical Psychology through the China Society for Analytical Psychology, she contributes to the growing community of Jungian practitioners in China who are working to integrate classical analytical psychology with indigenous psychological traditions and cultural perspectives.
