Lara Lagutina is a training and supervising Jungian analyst of the Society of Analytical Psychology, a clinical psychologist registered with the HCPC, and a Somatic Experiencing practitioner based in West Hampstead, London. She holds a doctorate in clinical psychology and is a member of the International Association for Analytical Psychology, the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy, and the British Psychoanalytic Council. With over thirty years of clinical experience working with individuals and groups, she serves as Programme Director for the Analytic Training at the SAP. Her clinical practice integrates Jungian analysis, object relations theory, relational psychoanalysis, and body-oriented trauma approaches, with particular specialization in early relational, developmental, and attachment trauma. She is EMDR trained and brings expertise in working with anxiety, panic attacks, depression, phobias, PTSD, chronic pain, somatic symptoms, and nightmares. Her doctoral dissertation examined the contribution of Jungian sandplay to working with somatic problems, and she has published academic work on early relational trauma and Jungian approaches to therapy. She also practices in Russian.
