About
Jacqueline Bentley is a Jungian analyst, psychotherapist, and clinical supervisor practicing in West London, within reach of Brentford, Chiswick, Acton, and Ealing. She holds membership in the Association of Jungian Analysts London, the International Association for Analytical Psychology, the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy, and the British Psychoanalytic Council, and is a senior member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. With over twenty-five years of clinical experience, Bentley began her therapeutic career as a Gestalt psychotherapist before training as a Jungian analyst, bringing an integrative sensibility to her depth-psychological work. She serves as a supervising analyst, training analyst, and approved training therapist on psychoanalytic psychotherapy programmes at the University of Exeter. In her practice, she works long-term with individuals and adolescents from age fourteen, employing the analysis of dreams, images, and symbols to help patients access what the unconscious is communicating. Her areas of focus include work stress, loss, health issues, relationship difficulties, cultural identity, depression, anxiety, career transitions, and questions of gender and sexuality. She also holds a Master's degree in Creative Writing and serves as librarian for the AJA Library.
