## Biography

Isabelle Meier is a Jungian analyst and psychotherapist in private practice in Zürich, where she has been seeing clients since 1993. She graduated from the C.G. Jung Institute Zürich in 1996 and holds a doctorate in psychology (Dr. phil.) from the University of Zurich, along with earlier degrees in history and philosophy from the same institution. She completed additional training as a Guided Affective Imagery (katathym-imaginative) psychotherapist, broadening her clinical repertoire beyond classical analytical work.

Meier is active at the C.G. Jung Institute Zürich, Küsnacht, and has served on its Curatorium (Board) since 2026. She is currently co-president of the International Network of Research in Analytical Psychology and serves on the editorial board of the German journal Analytische Psychologie. As a training analyst, lecturer, and supervisor, she has been instrumental in shaping the next generation of analysts.

Her scholarly contributions include publications on complexes, dissociation, depression, analytical psychology, and intergenerational relationships. She works with conversation, dreams, symbols, and images to help clients recover a sense of meaning and psychological orientation.
