Henry Abramovitch, PhD (Yale), is Founding President and Senior Training Analyst of the Israel Institute of Jungian Psychology (in Honor of Erich Neumann). Professor Emeritus at Tel Aviv University's Sackler School of Medicine, Department of Medical Education. Canadian-born Jungian analyst and anthropologist in Jerusalem, Israel. Former president of the Israeli Anthropological Association. Active in the Israel Interfaith Encounter Association. His fieldwork has included death rituals research in Madagascar and Jerusalem. Currently serves as senior training analyst and supervisor for analysts in Eastern Europe and Kazakhstan, and leads a reflection group for Ukrainian analysts since the war began. Prolific author combining analytical psychology with anthropology and biblical studies. Published books include 'The First Father Abraham' (2010), 'Brothers & Sisters' (2014), 'Why Odysseus Came Home as a Stranger' (2020), and 'Panic Attacks in Pistachio' (2023), all through Chiron Publications.
