## Biography

Foremost voice of archetypal psychology in Latin America. Jungian analyst in São Paulo, member of the Associação Junguiana do Brasil (AJB) and the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP). Founding member and Editor-in-Chief (2005-2015) of 'Cadernos Junguianos,' the AJB's annual journal. Introduced James Hillman's work to Brazilian audiences by translating several of his major books into Portuguese. Published works include 'The Sibling Archetype: The Psychology of Brothers and Sisters and the Meaning of Horizontality' (Spring Publications, 2016), 'Zeus: The Order of the World and Archetypal Fatherhood' (2023), and contributions to 'Imaginal Worlds: According to Corbin, Hillman, and Jung' (2023). Also edited 'Friendship and Its Paradoxes: Essays from the VI Latin American Congress of Jungian Psychology' (Cambridge Scholars, 2014). Lived in the USA during the 1980s where he completed his MA in Clinical Psychology at The New School for Social Research and studied at the C.G. Jung Foundation, both in New York City.
