Giorgio Giaccardi

Giorgio Giaccardi is a Jungian analyst and psychotherapist practicing in London. He is a senior member and Training Analyst of the British Jungian Analytic Association and a senior member of the British Psychotherapy Foundation. He also maintains membership in the Associazione per la Ricerca in Psicologia Analitica in Milan, Italy, reflecting his dual Italian and British professional affiliations. Giaccardi is registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy and the British Psychoanalytic Council. His scholarly and clinical interests encompass sexual diversity, gender identity, and the nature of the symbol, subjects on which he has written, taught, and given seminars at institutions including Birkbeck, the University of Essex, and various professional associations. He has published on unconscious processes in instrumental music and the experience of the sublime, with particular attention to Messiaen's Quartet for the End of Time. Giaccardi has a special interest in working psychoanalytically with music and offers both clinical analysis and supervision in English and Italian.
