Giorgi Geleishvili

Giorgi Geleishvili is a psychiatrist and Jungian analyst based in Tbilisi, Georgia. He holds an academic appointment as Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Tbilisi State Medical University, where he contributes to psychiatric education and clinical training. Geleishvili is affiliated with the Georgian Mental Health Coalition and has been an active voice in advocacy for improved mental health services in the country. His published research includes work in the International Journal of Social Psychiatry, where he proposed a novel hypothesis concerning increased rates of schizophrenia among migrant populations, drawing on principles from analytical psychology. He has also contributed to studies examining the quality of care in outpatient mental health settings across Georgia.
