About
Gillian Kind is a senior training Jungian analyst based in Fulham, South West London, with over twenty-five years of experience in psychotherapy. She is a member of the Independent Group of Analytical Psychologists (IGAP), the Guild of Analytical Psychologists (GAP), and the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). Kind serves as a training analyst and supervisor for both IGAP and GAP, and she gives Grass Roots seminars for the Jung Club London. Her clinical work encompasses individuals presenting with specific life issues such as childhood trauma, bereavement, career change, relationship and family difficulties, and mid-life transitions. She has extensive experience collaborating with general practitioners and psychiatrists over her career. Kind maintains a particular scholarly interest in the overlap between Jungian psychology, religion, and psychiatry. Her recent teaching has focused on the relevance of myth and mythology in psychology, exploring what Jung called 'The Symbolic Life' and its bearing on contemporary clinical practice. She has presented on these themes at events organized by the Irish and International Jungian communities. Kind is currently not accepting new clients.
