George Dunne

George R. Dunne is a Jungian analyst in private practice in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Canada, with over forty-five years of experience in the helping profession. He holds a graduate degree in counselling from Acadia University in Wolfville and is an alumnus of the C.G. Jung Institute in Zurich, Switzerland, where he spent a decade in study, personal analysis, and case supervision. His thesis at the Jung Institute was titled 'The Healing Symbol of the Wolf: Who is Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?' Dunne is an accredited analyst of the C.G. Jung Institute Zurich, Kusnacht, and an analyst member of the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP). His private practice includes consultation, supervision, and workshops, with a particular emphasis on dream work. He maintains two appointments open for training candidates in analytical programs, and much of his work is offered pro bono for those in need. Dunne's approach is rooted in the classical Jungian tradition of depth exploration, drawing upon dream analysis and symbolic understanding to support the process of individuation.
