He holds a dual background in music — including a DMA from SUNY Stony Brook and studies at the Yale School of Music — and clinical social work, and is a Certified Jungian Analyst.

He is the author of 'I'm Working On It In Therapy: How To Get The Most Out Of Psychotherapy,' a guide for clients in traditional talk therapy, also known as depth or psychodynamic therapy. He has also written articles on dreams, therapy, and personal transformation for the Huffington Post.
Gary's approach is rooted in Jungian analysis, which emphasizes the uniqueness of each individual and the importance of tailoring treatment accordingly. He focuses not only on past experiences but also on helping clients move forward toward greater wholeness, authenticity, and meaning.
