About
Evangelos Tsempelis is a Greek-born Jungian psychoanalyst holding a PhD, with academic backgrounds from Tufts University, the Fletcher School (international relations and conflict resolution), and the University of Warsaw. Before training as an analyst, he directed a humanitarian mission in Kosovo and worked at the European Parliament, bringing a rare depth of cross-cultural and geopolitical experience to his clinical work.
Clinically trained as a Jungian psychoanalyst in Zurich, Tsempelis is a member of AGAP (the Swiss German-speaking Jungian society) and IAAP (the International Association for Analytical Psychology). He practices in Zurich surrounded by a rich community of analysts, colleagues, and supervisors, and has also worked in Berlin and Lausanne supporting individuals from around the world. He periodically visits Greece to work and retreat on the island of Aegina, and his Athens practice is currently listed as unavailable.
Tsempelis co-founded Stillpoint Spaces, an international platform for psychological and cultural events, and offers an innovative personalized dream diary platform. His areas of work include moods, destructive patterns, crises and traumas, relationship challenges, conflicts, alienation, life transitions, loss of meaning, career changes, expatriate challenges, personality development, and dreams and imagination. Colleagues describe him as a careful, curious, and caring analytical psychologist with a deep sensitivity, compassion, and openness to mythological themes in analysis.
