About

Ethel Espenberg is a Jungian psychoanalyst, analytical psychotherapist, and art therapist based in Tallinn, Estonia. She holds a Master of Science in Health Sciences and has studied education and psychology, defending her master's thesis in art therapy in 2013. She is a member of the Estonian Association for Analytical Psychology (EAPS) and, through that affiliation, of the International Association for Analytical Psychology. Espenberg's clinical approach integrates the creative and expressive dimensions of art therapy with the depth-psychological framework of Jungian analysis, supporting clients in processes of psychological change and authentic self-realization. Her professional experience spans multiple institutional settings, including work at the Kesklinna Children's Polyclinic's counseling center for children and youth, Tallinn University's career and counseling center, and roles as a lecturer and trainer. She also maintains an affiliation with the Kesklinna Family Counseling Center in Tallinn. Espenberg practices in both Estonian and English, making her work accessible to an international clientele. Her commitment to art therapy as a pathway into the unconscious reflects a holistic understanding of the psyche that honors both image and word in the analytic encounter.
