## Biography

Deborah Monninger is a Jungian analyst and licensed professional counselor in Tempe, Arizona, whose clinical work is grounded in a commitment to profound psychological growth rather than symptom management alone. She earned her Doctor of Behavioral Health from Arizona State University in 2013, her Master's degree in Counseling from Ottawa University in 1996, and completed her Diploma as a Jungian Analyst through the C.G. Jung Institute of Colorado in 2022. She is a member of both the C.G. Jung Institute of Colorado and the International Association of Analytical Psychology.

Monninger's therapeutic approach draws on Jungian analysis, talk therapy, dreamwork, somatic practices, sandplay, and artwork to explore messages from the unconscious. She has extensive experience working with court-mandated clients, particularly in the area of addiction and substance abuse, which has given her a grounded, pragmatic understanding of the way unconscious dynamics play out in compulsive behavior and recovery.
