About
David Marcus Schmid is a Jungian psychoanalyst practicing in Berlin, Germany, with availability for both in-person sessions and online international consultations. He subsequently served as a federal prosecutor in Victoria and Vancouver and later practiced as a lawyer and mediator.
In 2008, Schmid commenced training at the International School of Analytical Psychology in Zürich, one of the foremost Jungian training institutes in the world. He was promoted to Diploma Candidate and initiated his psychoanalytic practice in 2010, completing his Post-Graduate Diploma in Analytical Psychology in 2023. Schmid's distinctive background in law, mediation, and depth psychology informs his clinical approach. His practice reflects the analytic tradition's emphasis on the exploration of unconscious processes, individuation, and the meaningful engagement with psychic life across cultural and professional boundaries.
