Catherine Hinds

Catherine Hinds is a senior Jungian analyst and psychotherapist with over twenty years of experience in private practice in London. She trained initially as a Drama and Movement Therapist before completing her training in Jungian Analysis with the Guild of Analytical Psychology (GAP). She holds a Diploma in Supervision from the Society of Analytical Psychology and advanced training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (Levels 1 and 2) as well as Complex Trauma and Dissociation.

Hinds is an accredited member of the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC), a member of the British Jungian Analytic Association (BJAA), and a member of the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP). For the past thirteen years, she has also worked as a psychotherapist in the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLAM), one of the leading mental health trusts in the United Kingdom, bridging institutional and private analytical practice.

Her clinical interests center on the body-mind connection, trauma, dissociation, and the role of the creative arts in psychological healing. She typically meets clients weekly, though she is also available for more intensive work of two or three sessions per week for those engaged in deeper Jungian analysis. Her integration of somatic and creative modalities with analytical psychology reflects a distinctive, embodied approach to depth-psychological work.
