Anne Marie Allen

Anne Marie Allen is a Jungian analyst and psychotherapist in private practice in Upper Beeding, West Sussex, within reach of Steyning, Shoreham, Worthing, and Henfield. She trained as a Jungian analyst with the Society of Analytical Psychology, completing her certification in 2023, and holds a Master of Arts in Integrative Psychotherapy from the Minster Centre. She is currently pursuing a Professional Doctorate in Analytical Psychology at the University of Essex, where her doctoral research examines the training complex and ethical boundary violations within the analytic training relationship.

Allen is a registered member of the British Psychoanalytic Council, a member of the Society of Analytical Psychology, and a member of the International Association for Analytical Psychology. Her theoretical orientation integrates the classical Jungian tradition with the psychoanalytic contributions of Freud, Klein, Bion, and Winnicott, reflecting the SAP's distinctive approach to analytical training.

Her clinical background includes work with Cruse Bereavement, drug and alcohol services, and women's counseling services, giving her experience across a range of presentations including trauma, loss, addiction, and relational difficulties. She offers individual psychotherapy once or twice weekly, or intensive Jungian analysis at three to five sessions per week, and occasionally works with clients via Zoom. Her standard fee is £65 per session, with adjustments available for multiple weekly sessions.
