Andrés Ocazionez

Andrés Ocazionez is a Jungian analyst, training analyst, and supervisor maintaining a private practice in Berlin, Germany. He holds a doctorate cum laude from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid for his dissertation on the psychology of analytical training, a Master of Arts in psychoanalysis and theory of culture from the same institution, and a degree in psychology from the Universidad San Buenaventura in Colombia. He is a graduate and certified instructor at the C.G. Jung Institute Zürich.

Ocazionez's intellectual interests orbit around psychological creativity, psychological becoming, depth-psychological epistemology, and the possibilities and challenges of technological tools in the practice of psychotherapy. He is an international lecturer and researcher who has presented at major Jungian conferences, and he has conducted dream analysis workshops grounded in the tradition of C.G. Jung's analytical psychology. He also pursues artistic practice in sculpture, poetry, and digital illustration.

He views depth psychological work as a highly complex and creative field, almost an art form, which demands sensibility, respect, trust, persistence, and a good sense of humor. He offers analysis and supervision in English, Spanish, and German, and is affiliated with Stillpoint Spaces Berlin. His combined training in Latin American psychology, Spanish psychoanalytic theory, and Swiss analytical psychology gives his work a distinctly cross-cultural character.
