## Biography

Andreas Dick is a federally recognized psychotherapist and accredited Jungian psychoanalyst based in Zurich, where he has maintained a private practice since 2007. He studied psychology at the University of Bern, completing a doctoral dissertation on psychotherapy and happiness, and subsequently earned his diploma in psychoanalysis from the C.G. Jung Institute Zurich. He also holds postgraduate training in cognitive-behavioral and interpersonal psychotherapy from the University of Bern. Before establishing his Zurich practice, he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Florida International University and as a psychology professor at the University of Redlands (2002-2007).

Since 2023, Dick has served as managing director and head psychologist at Curanima GmbH, a Zurich-based organization dedicated to psychotherapy, diagnostics, coaching, and psychological research. He is also a faculty member and lecturer at the C.G. Jung Institute Zurich, where he teaches seminars on psychoanalytic interpretation and the Freud-Jung relationship. He is the author of several books, including Psychotherapy and Happiness: Sources and Processes of Mental Health (2003), Courage: Growing Beyond Oneself (2010), The Seven Heavenly Treasures: Liberation from Destructive Patterns (2022), and Therapeutic Work with Feelings: Theory and Practice of Emotion Work (2023). He practices in German and English and also maintains a secondary practice location in Bern. He is currently not accepting new clients.
