Ana Tibau

Ana Tibau is a psychologist, Jungian analyst, and academic based in the Campinas region of São Paulo state, Brazil. She holds a Master's degree in Arts and a Doctorate in Mental Health from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), along with a university extension in Jungian Analytical Psychology from the same institution. She is a certified adult analyst through IPAC (Instituto de Psicologia Analítica de Campinas), a founding member and active participant in the Associação Junguiana do Brasil (AJB), and a member of the International Association for Analytical Psychology.

Tibau's training extends beyond the Brazilian Jungian milieu: she holds a child and adolescent analyst certification from the C.G. Jung Institute in Küsnacht-Zurich, the founding institute of the Jungian tradition. She is also a member of AGAP (Association of Graduates in Analytical Psychology of the C.G. Jung Institute, Zurich), reflecting an international dimension to her formation. She has been active in clinical practice since 1997, working with individual psychotherapy and body awareness methodologies.

She serves as Coordinator of the Instituto Ânima de Estudos Junguianos and has contributed to the pedagogical mission of the Brazilian analytical psychology community through teaching and institutional leadership. Her combination of Swiss-trained child analysis credentials and Brazilian academic formation in mental health positions her as a practitioner with unusual depth in both the clinical and scholarly dimensions of Jungian work, particularly as it pertains to the developmental life of children and adolescents.
